Blogging about Blogs

I just dig the internet! It's so awesome that I can communicate with family and friends living all around the country. The internet can't replace hearing a voice on the telephone or getting a hug by being there in person but when you have people you love scattered about the country, the internet is the best. Just being able to share our lives and our adoption journey on a daily basis is such a comfort for me. Instead of making many phone calls and updating our many loved ones, they can just log onto our website and our blog.

The other great thing about blogs is that we can read about other peoples lives. I have two blogs that I am just addicted to right now. The first one is called Waiting for Sophie. This one is a blog about the journey of one family to their daughter in Sophie. I have followed their blog since they went to China and picked her up. I love watching this little girl grow. Their story gives me some hope when we are going through some difficult times in our adoption.

I also love the Ali Edwards blog. I love scrapbooking and doing paper-arts. Ali is an extremely talented scrapper and her writing and her art is very inspiring.

Anyway, I just wanted to share how grateful I am for blogs and websites! I hope you are enjoying ours!
